The basic Business Idea of launching Binary-store.com was to start an Affiliate Website with E-commerce touch. We wanted our Affiliate store to look like a Full fledge E-commerce store. We wanted to do something different from the conventional Affiliates. The idea was to review the best Consumer electronics products to engage the readers and put affiliate links to the products pages so that when there was a sale, we get the commission. We started with Amazon.com Affiliate program. Amazon?s affiliate program is one of the best affiliate programs in terms of commission, security and support. So we went with it. We started with a Team of 4 people and we invested a total amount of $10,000 to get it started.

Working and Processes involved

Binary Store has been developed on Wordpress platform which we thought was the easiest and fastest Platform for launching our Affiliate store. First we worked on the Design, Structure, Navigation, List page structure and Product page structure based on the latest research on User experience design and Usability requirements. When the design and development was done, we started to identify the Product lines that should be included. Then we started to write the reviews on our chosen products and started publishing them.

Product addition and publishing is very easy on Binary Store. The wordpress theme has been modified to support all the fields required to Add an Affiliate product to the website. The images are attached for reference. The content, images, videos and prices can easily be inserted through the Post section.

The categories and products have been decided and finalized properly for the website. We wanted the structure of the website to be perfect.

Future of Binary Store

We had planned to launch Binary Store as the best Consumer electronics review store which will be basically an Affiliate website with an E-commerce feel. It has the potential to become the best Electronics Review store in the world, depending on the approach and the efforts. We also had a 2nd plan in mind for Binary Store. If we could launch our own electronics products in the market then we could transform it into a Full fledge e-commerce store and Our current SEO and online profile would help us in developing an e-commerce store that could start Online Sales from Day 1.

We wanted to launch it as a New brand in the Consumer electronics industry. Binary Store has the potential to become a brand, just like Walmart, Newegg and others. With proper investment, this store is ready to go World wide.

Reason for Selling

We had big plans for Binary Store but unfortunately, due to lack of finances, we cannot afford to have a team of Professionals working for us.
